Perched up alongside the Lungotevere, overlooking the river bend is a magical place, the perfect escape from the hot summer heat and sometimes chaotic city. The Magick Bar is like day and night. One side is focused on food and flavor-focused, the other side concentrates on sounds and music – both serving some stellar drinks. The Magick Bar restaurant has one of the most impressive and eclectic menus in Rome featuring dishes that bring flavours from all over the world. New this season is Bar Bello, created from the former Edicola De Zona in collaboration with Mattia from Blind Pig, with refined cocktails, intimate concerts, listening sessions, vinyl DJ sets and guest bartenders.
Parco Schuster returns for summer 2026 as one of Rome’s most laid-back open-air venues, with concerts, DJ sets, comedy, theatre, street food and community events in the green area beside the Basilica of San Paolo. There will be four Summertime 2026 events at the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone: Pat Metheny, Diana Krall, Gregory Porter, and Marcus Miller, with a tribute to Miles Davis on the centenary of his birth.
This lineup, with few rivals in Italy and Europe, is dedicated to the world of contemporary jazz, featuring focuses on Italian jazz (Italian Stars), piano, sax, guitar, double bass, and drum virtuosos (Heroes), voices (Sing), big bands (Large Ensembles), new trends (Newaves), crossovers (Crossover), and new talents (Rising Stars).
The event is a must for any rock music lover, with two months of programming starting in mid-June till the end of July in the enormous Ippodromo delle Capannelle and at Auditorium Parco della Musica. For thousands of rock fans, this is THE unmissable event of the year in Rome!
Free Jazz, Swing and Live Music in Rome All Summer Long
From May 15 to September 5, 2026, live music returns to one of Rome’s most enchanting summer settings with the 10th edition of Village Celimontana. Held inside the historic Villa Celimontana, in the heart of the city, the festival brings over 100 free concerts to Rome, with a rich programme of jazz, swing, manouche, rock’n’roll, Brazilian rhythms, dance nights and family-friendly events.
Set in one of Rome’s most elegant villas, just a short walk from the Colosseum and the Celio district, Village Celimontana has become a summer institution for locals and visitors alike. Its open-air stage hosts a varied line-up of Italian and international artists, making it one of the best places in Rome to enjoy live music under the stars.
Among the highlights of the summer programme is the Roman Classic Jazz Festival, curated by Lino Patruno and scheduled from August 19 to 22, followed by the Gipsy Mini Festival from August 26 to 28, dedicated to Django Reinhardt and the world of manouche jazz. One of the most anticipated guests is Tchavolo Schmitt, a true legend of international gipsy jazz.
Village Celimontana will also host regular weekly formats throughout the season. Every Monday, Claudio Gregori, known as Greg, takes over the stage with Greg Ogni LunEdì, offering a mix of music, comedy, rock’n’roll, swing and country. Tuesdays are dedicated to Swing Swing Swing, with free beginner dance classes followed by live concerts and social dancing. Sundays bring the energy of Bevo Solo Rock’n’Roll, a 1950s-inspired evening with dance lessons and live bands.

Spring Attitude Festival returns to Rome in spring, on May 29 and 30, 2026, with its 15th edition taking place at the La Nuvola Convention Center: a return to its roots, one of those great loves that go far away only to come back again.
Dedicated to contemporary music, new sounds, and digital arts, Spring Attitude will bring two days of contemporary, electronic, indie and alt-pop music, featuring established artists and emerging international and Italian acts, with live performances and DJ sets from afternoon until late night.
On May 29, Spring Attitude opens with a day focused on live performances, led by Nu Genea with their band and enriched by the electronic sounds of Parisi, the global psychedelia of YĪN YĪN, and Italian producer okgiorgio. The lineup also features Tony Pitony with his full band live set blending funk and irony.
On May 30, the festival moves toward a more club-oriented dimension, headlined by Japanese DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U. The program also includes Nathy Peluso with her Club Grasa project (the only Italian date), Motta performing a special live set celebrating ten years of La fine dei vent’anni, and artists such as Dov’è Liana, Palms Trax, Ben Sterling, Gaia Banfi, Altea, and Mind Enterprises, spanning electronic, house, alt-pop, and experimental sounds.

As is tradition, the Roma Gospel Festival returns to Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica from 20 to 31 December 2025.
The festival features the best American choirs and gospel groups and is the largest of its kind in Europe. With such a venue, the goal to involve all listeners and have them participate in the shows is easily achievable. So don’t hesitate to wave, sing along, or simply clap with everyone else for a unique and encompassing experience.
The festival kicks off on December 20 with Marquinn Middleton & the Miracle Chorale, an award-winning gospel choir that brings hope and ignites audiences’ enthusiasm with performances acclaimed by icons such as CeCe Winans and Fred Hammond, combining artistic excellence and community engagement into experiences of profound spiritual impact.
On Sunday, December 21, it’s the turn of Cedric Shannon Rives & The Unlimited Praise Gospel Singers. Cedric Shannon Rives is a multifaceted artist who unites musical, theatrical, and ministerial talent. He will be touring Italy again with his new group, “The Unlimited Praise Gospel Singers,” a collective of talents from various parts of the United States, known for extraordinary vocal gifts and genuine human warmth.
The program continues on December 22 with the Florida Fellowship Super Choir, which brings together over 100 singers, songwriters, directors, and musicians of different faiths and denominations from across the State of Florida.
On December 23, the spotlight turns to the Charleston Gospel Choir, a prestigious ensemble from Charleston, South Carolina—one of the states where the African-American sacred music tradition is most deeply rooted.
On Christmas Day, the traditional double show features the Harlem Gospel Choir, the most famous and longest-running U.S. gospel choir, performing since 1986 to raise funds for charity.
On December 26, 27, and 28, it’s the turn of the Florida Inspirational Singers, distinguished by a repertoire that links the great soul sound of the American South to spirituals and the most contemporary sonorities of the genre.
On December 29, Eric Waddell & The Abundant Life Singers will take the stage at the Auditorium Parco della Musica—one of the standout groups from Baltimore, Maryland. In its prodigious growth, the choir has steadily brought together an ever-increasing number of phenomenal vocalists; at present, the choir includes about fifty singers and an exceptional band.
The Roma Gospel Festival concludes on December 30 and 31 with Marquis Dolford & The Capital Gospel Group, a Washington-based ensemble known for its innovative approach to gospel music.
This is an event that delivers to its audience the beauty, splendour, and depth of classical and contemporary Gospel music.
