Canterò soltanto il tempo" (I Will Only Sing of Time). An unmissable cultural event that brings together music, words, unpublished archives, and photography.

To enrich the exhibition experience and connect it to the beauty and flavors of our territory, we offer four special tourist packages designed for lovers of culture, history, and slow tourism.

Francesco Guccini - Canterò soltanto il tempo

27 mai 2026 à 13:35

In the track Il tema, from the album L’isola non trovata (1970), Francesco Guccini gives voice to the central theme that runs through much of his work: that of time. An extremely coherent universe where words and storytelling – be it songs, short stories, novels or even just casual conversation – play a central role. Words that seem to be the only anchor capable of giving meaning to the passing of time, to life which, in the fleeting transience of the present, must inevitably look back in order to understand and fulfil itself. Guccini’s voice metaphorically takes the visitor by the hand and guides them through the rooms in an exhibition that brings words, songs and the voice of the ‘Maestrone’ – with its unmistakable timbre – to the fore. The materials provided by the author, many of which have never been exhibited before, help to create a narrative structured like a concept album centred on remembrance, memory and time, understood existentially as the flow of life.

The exhibition unfolds across the four floors of Spazio Gerra and explores nine thematic groups through nine songs, combining archival materials (photographs, original objects, reproductions) with new works by illustrators and photographers. These creations connect with the themes and lyrics of the songs, creating a journey that draws on Guccini’s main sources of inspiration: illustration, popular culture, literature, history and his roots.

The exhibition features illustrations by Simona Costanzo, Arianna Lerussi, Maurizio Mantovi, Veronica Ruffato, Silvano Scolari and Gianmario Taurisano, as well as two new photographic projects: Pavana e ricordi by Paolo Simonazzi, which explores the symbolic locations of Guccini’s world between Bologna and the Apennines, creating a visual map composed of landscapes, objects and details linked to popular culture and memory; and Zeitraum by Kai-Uwe Schulte-Bunert, which represents time and memory through images of falling components from old clocks, evoking the fragmentary nature of memory.

The entire project aims to convey the complexity of Guccini’s persona and his creative universe, going beyond the musical dimension to explore the cultural and intellectual richness of his work.

1000 Miles

26 avril 2026 à 10:40

The move to Reggio Emilia will take place in the second stage, Padova-Montecatini Terme.

Between Piazza Martiri del 7 luglio and Piazza della Vittoria the Ferrari Tribute will carry out the Time Check for the lunch break (scheduled at the University) starting at 12.00, while the first historic car is expected for the Stamp Check at about 2.00 p.m.

The parade will then continue along Corso Cairoli, Via Mazzini, and Piazza Gioberti, taking Corso Garibaldi to Piazza Roversi. After passing Via Ariosto and Piazza Diaz, the cars will return to a stretch of Via Emilia and then turn towards Viale Simonazzi. The final exit from Reggio Emilia will take place along Via Martiri di Cervarolo, heading south.

Respecting the tradition of the route from Brescia to Rome and back - with stage arrivals in Viareggio and Bologna - the 2021 edition, from 16 to 19 June, will present an absolute novelty for the commemorative 1000 Miglia: for the first time, the sense of race gear will be reversed compared to recent editions, taking up the counter-clockwise direction of many editions of the original speed race.

Matildic Historic Parade

23 avril 2026 à 15:15

The event takes place In the town centre and at the Bianello Castle, via Bianello.

Every year Quattro Castella celebrates an important episode in the European history that took place at Bianello between May 6 and 11, 1111; Emperor Henry V, son of Henry IV who obtained in January 1077 the famous pardon of Canossa from Pope Gregory VII through the mediation of Countess Matilda, came to Bianello and appointed Countess Matilda as Vice-Queen of Italy.

Donizone, writer of that time, remarks that this was the first step toward the Agreements of Worms (1122); the ceremony took place on the church square near the area where the current event takes place.

The Matildic Historic Parade takes its name from the final parade of over 1,000 extras dressed in vintage dresses in the streets of Quattro Castella. The show consists of the theatrical re-enactment of the historical episode, with Matilda and Henry V usually interpreted by well-known figures of entertainment, culture and sport.
